Quick Links to Find Impact Surveys

  1. The real-time status of impact surveys can be found in both GivingData under requirements for the grant request AND in this google sheet, ‘Grantee Monitoring Data’.

    1. The google sheet includes information on what stage the grant is during the learning cycle, a link to the created or completed survey, and the date that the surveys are sent to the grantee and their corresponding deadline
  2. All sent surveys are saved as PDFs and saved in the grantee’s respective Google Drive folder, ‘Impact Monitoring and Reporting’ AND uploaded to their grant request documents records in GivingData

  4. All survey questions and responses are created in and can be located in SurveyMonkey here. (Primarily for Measurement Team only, but all GTLF staff can access it)

1. Creating the survey in SurveyMonkey

  1. Login to SurveyMonkey
  2. Create a copy of the TEMPLATE Annual Grantee Impact Survey: GRANTEE NAME

2. Preparing the survey to send to the grantee

  1. Print the completed survey by going to ‘Design Survey’, then in the bottom left, click ‘Print’
  2. Change ‘Print Style’ to ‘Use Current Theme’
  3. Check all the boxes, then click Download PDF

  1. Rename the downloaded .pdf as ‘[Grantee Name] - GitLab Foundation Impact Survey [Year]’
  2. Save the .pdf in the grantee’s folder in Google Drive in the ‘Impact Monitoring and Results’ folder
