This handbook was started when GitLab Foundation was launched in September 2022 as a way to make information sharing efficient and easy, particularly in our all-remote environment. We patterned the handbook of the GitLab, Inc. Handbook, though we have tailored it to our unique needs.
Our handbook is our way of ensuring that all of our organizational information is accessible to everyone, regardless of when they become part of the team, and that we are also practicing our value of Transparency with external stakeholders.
